Every now and then I like to, “keep it real” by having a look at artistic work I consider masterful. These mind blowing recycled art sculptures by Leo Sewell (Philadelphia) do just the trick. I am captured by his artistic vision and workmanship. Truth be told, I really just stare at them [it's awe].

Leo Sewell is no doubt a master. His work is collected internationally and can be found in many museums. Perhaps you have seen his work in the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia. According to his bio he grew up near a dump and has, “played with junk now for fifty years.” Incredible.
He is a featured artist in a gallery show called “transFORMation: Art Made from Recycled and Reused Materials” on display now at the Hicks Art Center Gallery.

Kate, in partnership with her husband, designs and fabricates unique sculptural and functional metal works using old farm machinery –Gatski Metal. Kate is also the mother of two busy little children.

we’ve appreciated his work at the Please Touch Museum…that horse is amazing. I can’t imagine being able to think and create like that.
