Farewell, but not goodbye!
Well, this all went so much easier that I expected!
As you may know, last week I announced that it was time for me to center my priorities and move on from Handmade in PA. I was no longer able (and haven’t been for awhile) to keep up with the demands of this vibrant community!
And in the true spirit of their organization, the PA Guild of Craftsmen – Handmade in PA’s very first sponsor and longtime supporter & friend – agreed to take control of the site, broadening their own mission to incorporate all types of craftspeople under their umbrella and bringing significant resources to the table!
This makes me happier than you can believe, knowing that the mission & vision of this site, now 1 year old, will continue on even better than I could have done! I have so enjoyed talking with you, supporting your work, buying from you, and stalking your shops day in and day out. I am so much more fulfilled in my own life now than I was a year ago and Handmade in PA has afforded me the opportunity to really make something of my own talents and crafts!
You can still catch me blogging everyday over at Scoutie Girl. And in case you haven’t yet, please friend me on Facebook and follow me on Twitter!
Nick, from the Guild, will be starting up here next Monday or so after a well-deserved vacation. So things will be a bit quiet around these parts this week and then great things are gonna happen!
