I had the pleasure of meeting Denise Romano Bright in a gathering of artists about a year ago. When I saw this window display at the Phoenixville Village and Art Center last night I was reminded again of just how talented she is. Everything Denise touches turns into art!
Denise is a photographer extraordinaire and a many mediums artist. She works with clay, beads, fiber, makes beautiful jewelry, books and more. Her work is featured in many galleries and shops, and recently in the Smithsonian.
VISIONS IN BLUE – CYANOTYPE IMAGES ON PAPER & FABRIC

Denise created EVERYTHING in this window! including framed images, the quilt, pillows, tote bag, basketry table mats, porcelain pottery, jewelry and handmade books. And then she created the installation.
I used to have a couple of friends in high school who put their pillows outside in the cold air and then brought them in at night, because they liked to sleep with their heads on a cool pillow.
These are definitely the coolest pillows ever!
