We are just over 3 weeks away from my daughter’s 2nd birthday. I have been (surprisingly) overcome with nostalgia for the past week or so. I am unsure about where my inner thoughts will travel over the next few weeks, but I’ll willingly go wherever they want to take me. What a journey the past 2 years has been…
My daughter Evelyn (we call her Evie), is pure joy. This will come as no surprise to my regular readers, as she was the singular inspiration for my Buy Buy Baby series. Sometimes I don’t feel as much like Evie’s mom as I do her guide, showing her what I know, but also being open to suggestion from her. We have a lot of fun together doing the most ordinary sorts of things.
One of the first boards I made on Pinterest was called Evie World. I love pinning ideas to this board of crafts I’d like to make for, or with, Evie. I also pin things that make me think of her. Evie World is probably my favorite board. I am inspired by things relating to Evie practically everywhere I look! As she gets older, the possibility of bringing some of my pins to life is more likely which for me, is thrilling.
You can take a peek at some of my juiciest pins from Evie World in today’s post. Explore the rest of them on my board! I’m thinking a big box of this Rainbow Rice and some accessories would be a great 2nd birthday present…what do you think?
