Pennsylvania Wilds Artisans are artist residents of 12.5 counties in Northcentral PA, roughly between Route 6 and Route 80, which has a rural, scenic quality. The website for this talented group provides information on individual artisans, galleries and how to commission artwork for PA Wilds Artisans to bid on.
- In the ‘Gallery’ section, you’ll find information on all the retail stops along the Pennsylvania Wilds Artisan Trail – a unique collection of craft barns, boutiques, galleries and studios – where you can purchase handmade goods.
- The ‘Artisan’ tab will allow you to search, by name or medium, the more than 100 local artisans juried into the Pennsylvania Wilds program, see samples of their work, and find information on how to contact them.
- For anyone looking to commission a piece of artwork or submit a proposal for the region’s juried artisans to bid on – they’ve got tips on how to do that too, in their ‘Custom Art Work’ section.
