See Love Park in Center City transform into the coolest outside holiday market with more than 60 vendors starting this Thanksgiving. Love Park will be covered in thousands of lights, big wooden booths with vendors, and of course the big holiday tree. The Christmas Village in Philadelphia is modeled after the traditional Christmas Markets in Germany.

This is their biggest one yet! There will be over 300 tables of vendors selling old records, clothes, art, handmade crafts, music, food, bicycles, stereo equipment, furniture, and so much more. This event is a nice blend of flea market and craft fair.
For this “Holiday Edition” they will be hosting a record fair across the street at Starlight Ballroom. So now you get two buildings of stuff to browse for your $3 entry donation.

If you are in the Philadelphia area this Saturday October 27, join me for East Passyunk Avenue’s first Fall Festival starting at 11am in South Philly! I will be one of the vendors along with several other amazing local Philadelphia artists for the craft show put together by Nice Things Handmade. You can stop by the Avenue’s bars and restaurants for seasonal brews, specialty cocktails and award winning food. The streets around the Singing Fountain will be closed, and Stateside will be pouring seasonal craft beer. There will be live music, too! Michelle is a crocheter, graphic designer, and arts administrator in Philadelphia, PA. She is the creator of Only Meesh Handmade through which she brings brilliant colors and great fashion into peoples’ lives with her crocheted scarves, cowls, and jewelry. Michelle obtained a BFA in graphic design from the University of the Arts, and from time to time creates custom designs for social events such as weddings, showers, graduations, and birthdays.
