There is a gem here in the Laurel Highlands, and it goes by the name of Touchstone Center for Crafts.
Founded in 1972 as the Pioneer Crafts Council, this three-season craft school is located just 60 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.
As the mountains of Southwestern Pennsylvania brace themselves for another round of winter and more snow, maybe old Punxsutawney Phil was correct in his prediction that Spring is just around the corner.
My reason for saying this is because Touchstone has released their 2013 Workshop Schedule!
Not only do they provide top-notch workshops and instructors, the setting itself is inspiration enough to get your creative juices flowing.
Are you ready to ‘Think Spring’? Then check out Touchstone Center for Crafts, you won’t be sorry!
